The long way home
After years of missed hellos, two hearts who shared the same hallways are finally ready to share a life. We would be honored to have you there.
Our love story
Once upon us
Two hearts that found their way to each other.
Same hallways, different worlds
Mark and Trix once walked the same high school halls. He was the quiet one, happiest in his own small circle of friends. She seemed to know everyone, across every year level and section, his included.
They shared friends and passed each other between classes, yet somehow never said hello. Neither of them knew it then, but their story had already begun.
Davao, Manila, then the open sea
After graduation, life pulled them far apart. He made his way through Davao and Manila before setting out to sea.
Cagayan de Oro, then Thailand
She settled in Cagayan de Oro, finished her studies, then set off for Thailand, where she spent seven years before coming home.
For a long while, not a single thread tied them together.
Her name quietly surfaced on his screen, a face from a lifetime ago. He reached out first.
You accepted Mark's friend request
Shy, gentle, and somehow already familiar.
That first message soon melted into hours of easy conversation, the kind that makes you lose track of time. What grew from that hello felt less like meeting and more like remembering someone they were always meant to know.
Some people you meet.Others simply feel like home.
A simple hello, then every evening after
Their long chats became the best part of each day.
"Drive safely," and something more
On an ordinary afternoon before a long drive home, his "drive safely" was sent with an "I love you" tucked behind it, and hers came just as easily.
Officially theirs
Five days later, he shyly asked if they were official, and February 27 became theirs.
Two families, one embrace
They built their love across the distance, met and were embraced by each other's families, and began this next chapter the traditional way, with his family coming to hers for the pamamanhikan.

Someday is finally here
Theirs is a tale of almosts and second chances, proof that some love stories take the long way home. Surrounded by the people who shaped them, they will say yes to the life they have always dreamed of.

The reception follows at the same venue.

What to wear
Earth tones, softly done. Find your role below for the colors and pieces we've picked for you.
Chocolate brown to champagne

Muted gold, pearls, and brown leather sit best with our palette. Silver is welcome too, kept soft and simple. Please save bright colors for another day.
Our ceremony will be held in the garden. Block heels or wedges are kinder to the floor, and to you, than stilettos.
December evenings in the Bukidnon highlands get cool. A shawl or pashmina in champagne, taupe, or mocha keeps you warm and on-motif.
Satin, silk, chiffon, crepe, and fine wool all photograph beautifully. Kindly skip prints, patterns, and loud textures.
